Legal Question in Family Law in California

When a Petitioner files an OSC and then the respondent sends his response and income and expenses, is the Petitioner suppose to receive a copy of the Respondents income and expenses? I am the Petitioner and just went to court but never saw the Respondents Income and Expenses, was I improperly served?

Yes, everything that is filed with the court must be served on the other party. Consideration of evidence not served on the other party is court error.
