Legal Question in Family Law in California
I have physical custody of my children. However, we have a court order where my ex gets the children every other weekend, summers and either Christmas or Thanksgiving. My financee, who has been on his job for 18 yrs is in PA. I'd like to move to PA and take the children. My ex will fight this tooth to nail. Do I have a fighting chance and if so I need a 'darn' good attorney with a winning track record to help me. Any suggestions?

It is your moral duty not to take the children away from their father.
That is going to be a very tough sell. I HIGHLY recommend that rather than fight with your ex, you try to work something out to provide him with as much custodial time as possible and see if he will consent. If you decide to fight, you better have Arnie Becker.
