I am planning on getting married and need to know if I am divorced first, HELP.

You are not divorced until the court signs a judgment or decree that terminates your status as being married. The fact that a petition for dissolution was filed by one of the spouse's is not dispositive. You need to check your divorce file and ensure that a judgment terminating your marital status was signed by the judge, or commissioner, and entered.
