No such thing exists. "Points and Authorities" is short for "Memorandum of Points and Authorities." It is sometimes referred to as a "brief," for short. It is a custom drafted legal document that presents the argument for or against a motion or other proceeding before the court and contains a statement of the facts relevant to the proceeding (supported by a separate submission of documentary evidence if needed) and then an explanation of the legal argument (Points) for why the court should rule as the party submitting the memorandum asks the court to rule, supported by citations to the cases, statutes, regulations and any other laws (the Authorities) that support that legal argument.
