Legal Question in Family Law in California

Poperly served?

I received a Findings and Court Order in the mail. I knew nothing about the court appearance, they are saying I received notice. I know it had to be sent by regular mail, not certifed or a process server. It is ordering child support, freezing accounts, attorneys fees etc. I moved twice during the last 6 weeks and my mail was forwarded three times, so it is quite conceivable it was mailed and I never received it. Believe me if I had, I would have appeared. I have an attorney, but in the meantime I am feeling like I've been had and will not be able to change the order. (?)
