Legal Question in Family Law in California

post nuptial agreement

I have been married 19 years to 2nd husband and would like to know how Legally Binding is a Post-Nuptial Agreement. Husband is 100% in favor, he is of sound mind.

Thank you very much,

Marta

Re: post nuptial agreement

Hello Marta,

A post nuptial is very legally binding. I am a paralegal and my costs to do a agreement like this are WAY lower than it would be for an attorney to do so. If you would like this done in a quick and affordable way, then contact me today at 760.243.5121. Ask for Andrea

Thanks and God Bless

The strength of any type of contract, including marital ones, is soley determined on the strength of the person drafting the agreement according to the laws and the stipulated desires of the parties to that agreement. If you would like timely, affordable assistance in legally drafting the agreement at issue, contact us directly for a free phone consultation.

The type of agreement to which you are referring is called a transmutation. Transmutations are recognized and generally enforceable under California law. Of course, like any other legal transaction, the devil is in the details. You may contact my office to set up a consult to discuss your particular situation at 909/4671169
