Legal Question in Family Law in California

i posted earlier but the said they needed more info...

in oct last year the mother and i got in touch again only cause she responded to my facebook message. we bacame friends and so i asked for a paternity test. she got pregnant 24 months earlier and when she gave birth, she textd me saying the babys not mine so leave her alone... anyways e get back in touch and she gives it to me. the results came out that the child was mine... when the legal father found out, he "left". he was not part of her life for the nine months i was there and until 2 weeks ago, wasnt in her life, meaning he was outa her life from oct 29 2010 til sept. 2011... the mother and i had a disagreement cause she didnt like that i filed for parental rights so she said ill never see her again and i havnt see her in 3 months 2 weeks... then in the last 2 weeks i find out the child spent the weekend with the legal father. she only did that to screw my case up. she hates him and me. anyways, at our court date 2 weeks ago, the judge appointed the child an attourney and alwed me on the child support case like i asked. anyways i have an evaluation this friday and i need some advise or personal opinions on what to expect and what things i should avoid saying. any help would be great and anyone whos been through what im goin through, what did you do?

Simple answer. You absolutely need an attorney. When there are competing paternity presumptions, you need to have someone well versed in family law to help you.
