Postponements

Is there a statue of limitations on how many times a person can postpone a court date in a divorce? or will we just be divorced at the end of so many years weither or not we ever make it to court? I am attempting to file a motion to buricate, but my husband will not sign it. any advice?

In answer to your questions. No and No. File the motion,that is what a motion is used for, when you want something the other side does not agree to.

You don't need your husband's approval to file a motion to bifurcate. File the motion with the court and serve it upon him. The court should grant you motion. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
