Legal Question in Family Law in California

Power of Attorney

My mother is currently dying of brain cancer and has been placed into hospice recently. I am her only child and am of legal age, and there is no other immediate family or spouse that she has. If she's unable to make conscious decisions for herself and has yet to assign a power of attorney, is there any way for me to be granted power of attorney if she can't make a decision on her own?

Re: Power of Attorney

You must seek a probate Conservatorship for your mother and request powers to make those decisions.
