Legal Question in Family Law in California
Praying everyday
Son's military come home after 6 month deploymnet overseas to find out wife's pregnant by another military guy. Wife had moved out she said before his return. Think husband has a girlfriend and has not left any forwarding address nor number for my son to see his 2 year old son, nor has she called. My son is doing his own divorce with the militarys assistance for infidelity.
What are my sons' chances in getting full custody of his son and not being the presumed father to support this child conceived when he was out to sea?
Thanks,

Re: Praying everyday
Your son should have an attorney to help him through the maze. I understand that the military legal officers are helpful, but they do not practice in the California courts, and it is more important that your son has assistance with California procedure and knowning the judge who will be deciding his case. His chances are very good at getting custody of his 2 year old and he whould not be determined to be the father of the child conceived while he was at sea, absent any mistakes in his legal process.
