Legal Question in Family Law in California

What is the preferred method of filling in a California form?

I have been divorced almost 3 years. I want to stop child support to for my son who still lives with his Mom. Our Divorce Settlement included supporting him through the age of 19 years old, and he just turned 20. How do I fill in these forms I have? Do I handwrite them, or must they be typed on to be legally considered by the court?
