Legal Question in Family Law in California
I'm pregnant and the father shows little to no interest. . .I want to file for child support once my child is born would I have to let the father See the baby once it's here or do I have a chance at getting full custody since he had no interest since the beginning?

You can file for paternity and custody prior to birth of your child. Until there is a court order parenting plan you technically do not have to do any type of visitation.

If you file a paternity action and only request support, it would be up to father to initiate a motion to deal with the parenting and visitation issues. Until you have court orders, there's no legal obligation for you to let him see the child however, unreasonable denial of contact with the child could work against you if he wishes to proceed with a parenting relationship.
