Legal Question in Family Law in California

pre-marital contract

What can I do to prevent my fiance's ex-wife from increasing child support or any kind of support once I marry him. I have substantially more assets than he does.

Thank you.

Re: pre-marital contract

Nothing, since she can not increase child support, the judge does that and will not take into consideration your assets, except in rare extraordinary situations.

Your income or assets will not be considered unless he quits work bcz you have enough $ to just support him.

The prenup, though, will be useful re: creditors.
