Legal Question in Family Law in California

''Prenumptual Agreement?''

My fiance' and I will be getting married next year. He has 3 children and a considerable amount of debt that was incurred before we ever met. Once we are married would I ever be liable for his past debts? Also, since we will be a 2 income household would his ex-wife be able to take him back to court for more child support now that my income is adding to the total household income? If so, can I prevent this by having a prenumptual agreement drawn up by a lawyer?

Re: ''Prenumptual Agreement?''

You are not responsible for the debt and your income does not affect his child support at all.
