Legal Question in Family Law in California
How to prepare for court
I am attending court in one week and as stipulated by the Judge in my case my children's father is to submit to random drug testing at my request. If he dose not take this test it is assumed positive. He did not take it. This issue along with the issue of unreimbursed child care costs are at hand. My question is, Do I need to file any paperwork with the courts to bring up these issues, or can I simply submit at the hearing my notes to the judge, or just bring up these issues verbally?

IT is always best that the judge has this info ahead of time. I would prepare documentation and file it and serve it on your ex. If not served, you will have problem. Make sure you have supporting documentation and serve that with your papers. Probably best if you retain counsel also.
