Legal Question in Family Law in California

presumed father

A dna test showed me not to be the father of my son.

Do I have rights do to the fact that I provided for the mother finacely and emotionally for the whole pregnacy.

I bought cloths for the baby and was there for the birth.

Its not the mother I am fighting with it's the CPS.

Re: presumed father

You may qualify as a presumed father. You would have to prove that after the child was born that you took him into your home and treated him as your own child.
