prior domestic violence on record

5 years before the birth of my child i was arrested and convicted of domestic violence with my ex girlfriend. I served in the homepeace program completed probation and have not been introuble sense. Can the court still hold this against me when it comes to visitation af my 3 minor child?

The court may consider the conviction of domestic violence, but the court will also consider your rehabilitation. You may wish to see if the conviction can be expunged. For most judges I would expect that because of your rehabilitation the conviction will have little, if any, value. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
