How to do a private adoption yourself?

We are going to be adopting my brother's baby. We all agree on everthing but my husband and I want to know if we can use a adoption kit for this type of adoption? or how to do this with out any lawers

You go to the law library and read a book that describes the adoption process. When you understand the procedure and the law then you are ready to proceed without an attorney.
