Legal Question in Family Law in California

I need a pro bono worker

I have a very good friend who needs to get a divorce and she only makes 950 maybe a thousand dollars on a really good month. Are there any attorneys out there that can help her? She is in a horrible situation. Please respond if you know of anyone.

Thanks a lot!

Re: I need a pro bono worker

Many communities have legal aide programs etc that provide assistance to parties for little or no costs. Also many court have a legal clinic that provides assistance in these matters for free. If she is in an abusive relationship there are women's shelters that will provide her a safe place to live, with her children, and may even provide legal assistance. Further if her husband has income he can be ordered to pay her attorney fees. If his income is high enough the fess can be substantial and paid in advance.
