Legal Question in Family Law in California
im having problems with my childs mom everytime we have a disarement she says i cant see my child. Most resently she gave me 3 days to come up with $300 for her to keep from getting evicted. The last time helped her with her rent I wront out an agrement stating that I wound give her the money as long as she paid me back. That same day i had her sign another agrement concerning visitations with my daughter that stated I get mt daughter 3 days a week plus every other holiday. my question is will that written agrement hold any wieght in court?

Well, arguably your agreement for visitation was coerced. But, because it was signed, the court may consider it. It really does sound like you need to get into court for specific visitation and support orders so that the mom won't keep changing her mind and so that you will have a remedy against her when she pulls the rug out from under you. It would be best if you sought legal counsel where you live.

The agreement will "hold weight" in court if after the agreement was signed you began exercising the agreed upon parenting time. The longer the existing "agreement" is being followed the better your chance of getting the agreement enforced in court.
