Legal Question in Family Law in California

Im in process of divorce and i have 50/50 temporary custody of my three kids. My 8 yr old daughter has told me several times that when she is wit the dad he leaves all three kids alone in the house and sometimes under the care of her 11 yr old step sister. I dont agree with this and i already talk to the dad and he denied it. My daughter says its true. What should i do? I want full custody of my children, i worry for their safety. We are in state of california, what can i do? Also, the dads mother has taken my daughter out of country without my consent.

Consider a child custody evaluation that would allow the children to speak to the evaluator about fathers parenting issues.
