Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am in the process of trying to move out of my parents house where I have been living since I divorced my husband, but my parents are threatening to take my child from me if I try to move out on my own... Can they do that?

I don't do drugs, I take good care of my little girl, I am very capable of providing for my child once I take one of the jobs im looking at, I have my license as a Pharmacy Technician.

They don't have the grounds to take my little girl from me, do they?

Your parents could only take your child from you by filing for a guardianship and proving that it is in the best interest of the child that they have custody of the child. If what you are saying is true about taking care of your daughter etc., they don't sound like they have grounds.
