Legal Question in Family Law in California

I purchased a car for $10000 cash this month and made the mistake of having my boyfriend put his name with mine on the paperwork. It was my credit card and my check that paid for the car. We don't have shared finances. As soon as I did that, two days later he left me for another woman and took the car. What can I do?

I'm assuming you've told him you will take legal action if he does not return the car and sign off title. If you have a set of keys to the car, you should go get it and park it in a secure garage wher he can't get to it. Then file an action to have him removed from title.
