Legal Question in Family Law in California

Do I qualify for spousal support after 1 year separation

I have been disappointed at the replies I am getting regarding spousal support. My husband and I were married 1 year, 6 months. Since I left without a penny, I've struggled since, working 2 jobs, sometimes 3 and sometimes still no groceries. Since it was his actions that forced me to leave, though I have been gone over a year and he not contacted me, am I allowed to ask for some type of support? He's moved and my certified letters are unanswered for this financial request. What are my choices if any?

YOU SHOULD FILE A DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE AND ASK FOR SPOUSAL SUPPORT. IT WILL BE FOR A LIMITED TIME, BUT IT WILL BE SOMETHING. TALK TO A FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY AND HE CAN GIVE YOU AND IDEA OF HOW MUCH AND FOR HOW LONG. YOU CAN ALSO ASK THAT HE PAY A PART, MAYBE ALL, OF YOUR ATTORNEY'S FEES. GOOD LUCK, PAT MCCRARY
