Legal Question in Family Law in California

Qualifying for Social Security Benefits after a disso

I was married for over 10 years. I have been divorced for over 20. My spouse has remarried. During our marriage, I was the sole breadwinner paying into Social Security. I understand that my spouse qualifes for benefits because of our 10 year + marriage. Does that mean my spouse qualifies for a portion of MY benefits when I start drawing or for benefits as an individual?

She can qualify for social security under your payments. It is my understanding that her claim will not reduce your claim.
