Legal Question in Family Law in California

Quit Claim Recording

I was divorced in April 2002. I was granted two properties. I made an error on one of the Quit Claim Deeds, I had forgotten the property had already been pulled out of the Family Trust. I am now trying to refinance this property and need a new document recorded with the correct information, which he refuses to sign. Do I have any recourse?

There is a procedure to correct a clericle error. I would first need to review your underlying documents before I could provide you with an opinion.

I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
