Legal Question in Family Law in California

QuitClaim Deed

If a home has been awarded to one party through a divorce is there any other option other than the second party signing the quit-claim deed to release the home to the first party? It has been 10 years and I am still unable to aquire a signature from my ex.

Re: QuitClaim Deed

You can file a motion in court to force your ex to sign the deed and if your ex refuses to do so the judge can order the deed signed by someone else (his/her clerk for example) in lieu of a signature from your ex.
