can i file taxes on mortgage interest if im the trustee of the property but im not on the mortgage. mother is deceased, it was entrusted to me, i am the owner legally but her name is onthe mortgage that i pay.

Are you asking if you can personally deduct mortgage interest you paid on your property? If so, I think you can. Might want to verify it with your tax preparer or the IRS.
