Legal Question in Family Law in California
recalculated child support
I am paying child support and my son wants to live with me. My former wife has remarried. My question is when recalculating the child support payment, is the new husbands wage taken into account also?

Re: recalculated child support
It is only taken into account to determine the taxes paid by your former spouse. Filing jointly changes the amount or percentage of her gross income that she pays. Child support is not paid from his income. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
