Legal Question in Family Law in California

When an ex is given a receipt for their children's medical expenses (that they agreed to pay in court - it's in the judgement) is there a law that states they must pay that amount to the primary parent within a certain amount of time?

I am not aware of any specific statute with respect to child support, however this is something that should be included in the support order including the order for medical support. In California the general rule (there is a statute) is that to sue on a debt the suit must be filed within 4 years of the incurring of the debt. You should consult with a family law attorney about how to get the bill paid more promptly if there has been an extended delay (more than 60 days) in the other parent's response to your submission of medical expense.
