Legal Question in Family Law in California

Want to receive donor sperm, but want to make sure donor can't try to get custod

I am thinking about having a child, but my husband is unable to have children. I have researched donor sites, and found possible donors, but I want something that the donor could sign to keep him from wanting to maybe fight for custody later or get visitation rights. Is there something that says he has no rights and that he gives me his sperm, and gives up his rights as a parent? Because, right now, the donor says that he would not want to be a part of the ''child's'' life, but what if the donor changes his mind later?

California has a code section which applies to your situation. This section provides for an annoymous donor. If the code is followed then the sperm donor will have no parental claim to the child. A doctor or clinic that regularly performs this service should be familar with these provisions.
