Legal Question in Family Law in California

i was recently awarded physical custody of my four year old son until the next court date which is a month away, during court my sons mom decided to not agree on the recommended order from the mediator which would have given her the week of Thanksgiving with him. The judge said she wasn't going against the recommended order regardless of his mothers decision. So my question is do i have to give my son up for Thanksgiving?

Yes. The court imposed the recommendation. That means it is the court order regardless of whether either of you agree with it. You can't force the other parent to take the child, but the order is that they get the child regardless of whether they agree with the rest of the order.
