Legal Question in Family Law in California

I recently found out about the TUclaim and am trying to find out how to get in touch with a law firm that is still taking on clients as a class action suit?I am a widow and only just found out about this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Area there any law firms still taking clients on contingency basis?

The class action was settled. As part of the class action settlement you had an option to register for free credit monitoring under two options. One option included less free monitoring, but provided for payment of a share of any cash left over from the Settlement Fund. The deadline for registering for either option passed in 2008. The settlement also provided that TU would not assert the statute of limitations against anyone who opted out of the class by filing a separate personal lawsuit for damages (not another class action, that is done) for two years after final approval of the class action settlement. Those two years appear to be up in two days. I highly doubt you will find anyone willing to take your case and try to get it filed by Friday, especially on a contingency without knowing if you have much of a claim. If you want to try, though, I suggest you start calling consumer attorneys in your local area immediately.
