Legal Question in Family Law in California
What should I do?
I recently got married and since being married, I don't even like the person that I married. There are some things from her past (while with me) that she had not told me of that are causing problems now. I no longer wish to continue in the marriage. She has already told me that she will never give me a divorce because she has lied to me and cheated on me, and for all of that, she can't make any other mistakes with God. I really need some advice, I mean really.
Thank you

Re: What should I do?
California is a no fault divorce state and all that is needed ffor the court to grant a judgment dissolving a marriage is irreconciable differences.
However, the six month time period does not commence to run until the other party is served with a copy of the summons and petition for dissolution of marriage. That is 6 months after the respodent is served is the earliest time that the divorce can be granted.

First of all, CA is a "no fault" state. That means you do not need her to "give" you a divorce. If you want a divorce, you'll get one, whether she likes it or not.
Depending on what you didn't know about her, you may be entitled to a nullity (annulment).
