Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex recently revealed that she won a civil law suit in 2004 but I don't know how much she received. She is recieving welfare and ssi benefits. Could she be committing welfare fraud by not reporting this income?

If she has received or has assets that is not reported that would disqualify her and she intentionally withheld it to qualify could be considered welfare fraud.
