Legal Question in Family Law in California

recinding adoption with adoptive parents

I was adopted at a youg age and now that I am an adult and find myself wishing that I was not adopted by the adoptive parents that I have, is there any way that I can have the adoption recinded or terminated (Ido not want to have any legal ties to them whatsoever and do not want them to have any legal ties with my children)

Re: recinding adoption with

No there is not but as an adult you are not required to see them or let them see your children.

You cannot rescind or terminate the adoption.

You can be adopted (as an adult) by other persons (or a person), without

the consent of your adoptive parents, or your natural parents, and this will in

most practical ways end the status of your adoptive parents as your parents.
