Legal Question in Family Law in California

Does reconciliation invalidate marital separation agreement?

Husband and I signed a separation agreement in May 2004. We moved back in together in November 2004. A lawyer told me that reconciling invalidates our agreement.

Also, I was a patient in a psychiatric hospital right before I signed the agreement-does this mean I lacked capacity to enter into the contract?
