Legal Question in Family Law in California
A relative held under state custodiy
I have a relative who is in a senior
home and is under the state. What kind
of rights do I have ? Are they going to
ask me for any past mony that might
be due?

Re: A relative held under state custodiy
Your relative is an adult, so you don't have any responsibility to pay money unless perhaps you received assets from this person that they can make a claim to. If you did receive assets from them, talk to an Elder Law or Probate lawyers.
