Legal Question in Family Law in California

Wish to relinquish property rights

The remaining/unresolved portion of my divorce decree (1999) involves sharing of the procedes from a sale of foreign property. This property is in Costa Rica, which is my ex-husbands home. I wish to relinquish all my rights to that property or rights to the procedes from its sale. Would I need to appeal the court to modify the original decree or is there another way I can do this.

Basically, I want to give my portion of this property back to my ex-husband and his family, relinquishing any rights I have to this property.

Can you tell me what my options are?

Thank you.
