Legal Question in Family Law in California

I relocated from Illinois to CA 6 months ago. I have a previous court order from IL for a set amount of child support and my employer in CA is withholding child support. Can the children's mother modify the court order and increase the amount of support without serving me? d

For a second I thought the question was going a different direction. The quick answer to your question is no. You have to be given notice upon any motion to modify support.
