Legal Question in Family Law in California

remarriage

This is a divorce and Remarriage problem.

Different US states has different laws regarding Remarrying after divorce is final

In many states including California after final discourse there is no waiting period and a person can re-marry any time.

But my Divorce was filed in Wisconsin and according to law of that state my marriage will not be valid until 6 months after final divorce.

I want re remarry otherwise I will loose my girl. I cannot wait 6 months for nothing.There should be way around or loophole that is why you guys are for helping people resole issues

I am not familiar Wisconsin law, but it would appear that the divorce is not complete until the completion of the 6 month waiting period. You need to consult with an attorney in Wisconsin.
