Legal Question in Family Law in California

How do I represent myself against the ex and his Atty on Trial?

I am facing a trial date of June 18, 1998 where I am desperately fighting for my childrens mental well being, and for my fair share of community assets. I filed over two years ago, was coerced and threatened then into signing a judgement stipulation of which barely contains a scent of truth, subject to being provided full disclosure from Resp. To date have not received. Resp. Atty pushing toward trial, expecting to have old stip. judgemnt entered as is even though major modifications to income both for ex and myself and timeshare, medical payments and needs, end result will be to leave me completely bankrupt and ruined credit wise, my children are emotionally disturbed to the point that I am expected to either pick up or sit with while isolated at school therefore obstructing all attempts at continued employment for me. Help Me? I find that no one is willing, wanting nor able to instruct me as to the proper path to obtain assistance and or aide. I can't qualify for AFDC for I own a car they claim is worth $7400. whereas I owe $4500. and real property that he has refused to sell, now. etc. etc.

You need an atty fast

You better find an attorney fast. If you have now money but your husband does an attorney can ask the court to order him to pay your atty fees.
