My ex-boyfriend has given Power of Attorney over to his new girlfriend regarding all aspects dealing with our son and now she wants to speak on his behalf in court does the judge have to let her speak on his behalf during court hearings?

Re: representation in court

A power of attorney would not allow her to represent him in court, only a licensed attorney can represent a person in court. The judge is not likely to allow her to speak in court. The power of attorney giving her the right to all aspects for dealing with your son could be argued that he is not caring for your son, that she is caring for him. She has no custodial rights to your son.
