Legal Question in Family Law in California
What Are The Requirements For An Annulment?
I am inquiring about obtaining an annulment in the state of California. My wife has not made legal changes from her maiden name to my last name. What are the requirements and what forms will be needed if filing for a annulment and how long will this procedure take to complete?
Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter.

Re: What Are The Requirements For An Annulment?
Annulment is limited to very specific circumstances. You would need to contact an attorney and discuss the facts of your case. The fact that she did not take you last name will not be a ground supporting an annulment. The same forms that are used to disolve a marriage would be used.

An annulment may be ordered if proved fraud, incapacity, or incapacity. You may qualify for a summary dissolution. Please call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
