Legal Question in Family Law in California
Do I have to respond to a Respondents answers to my Petition for child custody & visitiation? If so and Respondent has an attorney, do I serve the attorney or only file with the Court?

A reply to a response to your petition is not required, but it is an opportunity to address the response, before you get to court. That can be an advantage, since judges, often, have their minds made up, before the hearing date. If the Respondent has an attorney, you need to serve the attorney and file the reply in court, with a proof of service.
