Legal Question in Family Law in California

Response to dissolution of marraige

My wife served me with a dissolution of marraige summons. We have no assets, property, and no minor children, she hired a lawyer regardless. Should I respond to this or not?

If you don't she will get everything asked for in the petition.

Re: Response to dissolution of marraige

You need to file a response. If not, she will obtain a default judgment against you and she gets whatever she has asked for in her complaint.

Feel Free to contact me if you would like to pursue this matter.

Good Luck!
