Legal Question in Family Law in California

response

i have petitioned the court for a modification in our child custody/visitation ruling. the case has been continued 2 times by my ex for various reaons. i have not recieved a response to my petetion for hiom or his lawyer. the mediators recommendation was in my favor because it is in the best intrest of our daughter. dose the judge automaticly rule in my favor or do i have to ask him? how do i go about doing that?

The judge will need to rule on the recommendation that has been made. It is not automatic and you should attend the hearing. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
