Legal Question in Family Law in California

Would I be responsible?

I have filed for divorce after 11yrs of marriage due to my husband being an alcoholic. I have 2 mos. left to go before it is final. I have kept him on my health insurance until it is final. In the meantime he has ended up in the hospital due to being diabetic and an alcoholic and just not taking care of himself. My question is whatever bills might come due from the hospital stay would I be responsible for anything? The problem is his unemployment has ran out and he doesn't have any other source of income.
