Legal Question in Family Law in California
Do I need to get the responsive declaration to request for order done by my mediation or by the court date assigned. Furthermore, do I give it to the mediator or do I have to give it to the clerk. How long will it take? Also, I want to do an order to show cause to have child support modified. Do I include that in my responsive declaration or a separate filing altogether. Thank you

It needs to be filed with the court and served on the other party, or other party's attorney no later than nine (9) court days before the hearing, unless the judge ordered otherwise.
