Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am respresent by an attorney, but my husband is representing himself & he is ordered by the court to appear for the Trial Setting Conference. What if he does not show up for the scheduled TSC? What ramifications, if any, will he be subject to ??

The court will most likely set an OSC re: sanctions for his failure to appear, and order him to pay sanctions to the court. He will not be able to input when he wants trial set, but the court will most likely continue the TSC. Your attorney may be able to have the court order him to pay your attorney's fees for wasting your time for not showing up.

Please ask your current attorney these questions. Your attorney has first hand knowledge of your specific situation and how the judge in your county will handle your husband's nonappearance.
